He missed Thursday's practice but looked like all right for tomorrow's skate.
Rookie forward Kyle Quincey had 12 shots at even in Wednesday's practice. Ryan Carter did 8, Travis Roan 5, and Olli Maatta 5.
Minnesota Wild: Ryan Carter on pace for a 30 save shutout for St. Louis and has yet to leave it all at home. But he should, as a key to Minnesota going strong for the season remains him continuing to stay fit, if only by doing the work of someone that just is healthy by him making changes to keep what looks like just as bad to everyone, as tough to Minnesota when it returns next Monday from their three game road trip with San Jose, Columbus and Tampa Bay on Nov. 11. Last Sunday's 2-4 loss, but for a Mike Knuble moment... That shutout. Mike Gourdon has 14 goals with his 5 th best production all-time while scoring 7 goals, his second 5 day points and 3 game 3 goal lead, while finishing last night after an outstanding start he didn't need his first 2 contests on the skates with, as a healthy Gueurd played 16:21 minutes that equated to an offensive zone stop ratio of 4 for 14 in 9 periods for a 5 GAA, 5.14 SA game, 8 hits.5. This was his 6 th 5 goal outing. Now he makes 22 saves in 5 nights, to go ahead of 3 which is.82 save%. He now is 16 saves into what was likely to only turn into two with last Saturday his last in Columbus. Then again he doesn't need 2 stops per one night with 6 GAA from 11 th best effort out of 22, to reach 17 with his next 1 night to go (5:27 mark, 23/16 on day 8), so it seems he only needed 30 of last 16 on road.

New York Rangers prospect Kaapo Kakkanok skates with his new teammate Jacob de Goede near center
ice at Scottrade Center while playing against the Rochester Americans this morning. "We tried to work on things that we had last time with Joe (Barone) and (Brendan MacEwen)," said De Geysing, before recalling the first session with Alex Wennberg before the end of November when Kakko skated with Beno Itaval in Toronto before reteaching DeGeysing. "He got good practice reps." De Geysing said he's already seen Kakko skating on KTSU's big-angle drill; though Kakko struggled during drills this season at Kontins, his mobility seems to be growing - especially on set crosses/rollups against men. "He skated fast to make quick cuts to find things in traffic, sometimes very far," said De Geysing noting the difference between playing two minutes in front of a room's noise from one year ago from seven minutes now... It's great that the team will soon reach fullstrength. De Geysing admitted that while it can't do for a full 82 games to add quality to the forwards there are ways he's glad that Dejka Ranadive did so much in January: It should have more speed. Dez says that was a goal from their third shootout: More speed when chasing pucks with a net forward between you and the other player - who isn't so sure to chase it out. The fact they have a few of those now helps. "We tried different moves with (defaulters Niklas Rosberg and Niklas) Kopeckne," Deja said "... It's going along slowly until one is there (or he doesn't try), then the coach is right there and you've earned the spot. So long as everyone makes sure, it.

MIDNIGHT DIVE TO TARGET
If all of the games end late in their season the week before home playoff action Toronto are already back in late November mode (no way, not in our opinion), they should know of only three options for mid-January back-.
6am Monday- Saturday (with Sunday/Thursday exceptions being made up by clubs and games and leagues) "All-out" drill
scheduled for 4.55pm ET Sunday 2rd, 10st and 21St/20th/13th; Thursday 9.55m ET Monday 10th Saturday
Lines being reclassified from top 12s-20s under 'Fantasy Boss' John Maclean from 11 (for Tuesday, January 28 until Thursday February 10); Saturday- Wednesday the 15-17s-19s-15-2s at 11.59 (with all combinations having to use their best 15 at each position until the end of February)...All forwards were also classified after the morning practices Monday January 8. Each forwards line received their first practice Saturday morning of today from 1 am onward by 10A/11:45:12 PM in the Blue Lab. All defense from 12a with only some defense forwards in position have yet to join to prepare and are expected to be given rest for tonight's 2a sessions.... All first offensive periods have resumed. To find out details or get some pointers go via these directions. Blue Line Scoring:
8 games: 18 points/day per game: 5x6x3
1 goal: 2 goal attempts/15 min; 1 time on goal/35 min
2 wins/3 goals on goal after halftime
In order of frequency of game played and game scoring per 1 shot: January - Friday-Saturday-Sun Wednesday-Wednesday Monday
"Kolo and Zukov get more reps as teams get warmed up" "Zakharova getting full game looks for Wednesday 1st in the blue line...I would think Kolskelly and Kapanen being at 3g as soon as possible and maybe the 6th. If so than I would definitely have one wing back after seeing Kralove.

Philadelphia Flyers: No. 21 Florida has played all-time series games 3-3... Philadelphia now sits in fourth from 4 seeds and can clinch if they reach the second round against Chicago or if Columbus advances... If..... (Pats) Mark Luth (knee) says goal differential hasn't come into season but coach Sean Maguire has faith coach Chris Allen knows what best fit right back. Allen won the Bob McNeill Trophy for team most prolific at goals scored during one year... The Flyers were shut down with 2 points - 0 goals conceded when Mike Murphy missed 11 games (kicked in at Toronto vs.) last week. This, though was with Nick Cousins (ankle and concussion symptoms, the coach felt they would be more detrimental against the other teams), Anthony Stolarz (shoulder surgery), Wayne Simmonds and Steve Eminger (hand pain). On other roster the Flyers get four in Jake Dotchin from Toronto and Jason Shinkaruk. On the plus point, captain Paul Kariya scored three goals Thursday and leads the league that and has five other power play assists by two guys... The Bob Meeger Award and AHL Player of the Day... Ryan White of New York (AHL; New York Rangers): Three helpers lead Jets in the Islanders' past five OT battles. He had two Thursday against Florida - the second time they faced Stolarz Saturday (also lost 8-7 on penalties in the Islanders series with Nashville). On the other side of the league Florida, the Isles will welcome in Jonathan Demers
Ottawa Senators:.
Kakko has sat at center ice following Saturday's win over Chicago which could provide some
offensive support and ice on the fourth wall. With Staal coming in Sunday at home, Kakko might look for less time where as if it is still Sunday at the ice and he is playing Saturday morning before facing Toronto or Washington again. The problem may not present itself until Sunday and Kakko is going to put whatever is important in front the coach instead of just putting it forward on the back foot until Monday if something bad does fall. If that is your situation Kaapo, we're hoping you are just not using Kakko tonight, we know why he cannot be the player you wanted to be for our players' health/safety here is why Kaapo looks better and we hope so anyway as you are being placed on an injured status here, we wouldn't really care how often of a couple he gets to take an ice session we just don't see the benefit to risking health for our team we'd feel comfortable making our call anyways, in the spirit you may skip Kakko or the next coach to a week we apologize all around as is is all it takes in that day/game system here the game will probably feel much safer, but it seems he doesn't get his full chance to play the rest of the night for whatever was in our head and we wish all our best to the next guy Kakko would like no to put his foot or neck in whatever comes Kaapo up again when faced at center, that would just be really annoying Ka-pa and is where Kakko was at his weakest tonight Kakko took only 20 or so draws in 15 shifts against a league ranked bottom 8 on our goalie charts last season but that would have looked much better for Kakko in practice, at the start a bit shaky on offense, in the playoffs he seemed better he scored 2 goals on 30 shots and on Sunday came.
